Costumer service quality

> Costumer service quality

Service Quality of the Regional Federation of Tourist Office.

To welcome you in a better way, to inform you in a better way in order to help you make a better choice.

The first requirement of OTSI is a "Warm Welcome" : direct contact with visitors.
The  Quality Initiative  covers all criteria for a professional welcome : visible directions to the tourist office, posters inside and outside, signs of premises, information, staff's attitude, costumer relation, actual quality of welcome (friendlyness, availability, etc.)

The Tourist Office of Dol de Bretagne and Pleine Fougères has been awarded this  "quality process" label.

> FNOTSI :

More than 1 600 bed and breakfast are registered in the Tourist offices.
In order to insure a guarantee of comfort and welcome, the National Federation of Tourist offices and Tourist information offices ( FNOTSI) together with the FROTSI ( Regional Federation) prescribe minimal requirement for bed and breakfast in order to be officialy recommended. This does not rank the B&B's but assure the costumer a minimum security, warm welcome and comfort.

These recommendation requirements aim to support a positive development of the B&B's product, whereby both french and foreign tourists will be happy with their choice when choosing a bed and breakfast.

A B&B is a type of accomodation to complement the traditionnal accomodation like hotels, self-catering flats, campsites…

Bed and breakfast is furnished accomodation and can be booked per night, week or per month. No more than 5 rooms may be offered with a capacity not exceeding 15 people (safety requirement).

Référentiel FNOTSI :
The tourist office of Dol and Pleine Fougères has decided to offer this type of reference to all their members. Therefore, there are no members who don't fulfill our requirements on our website or in our leaflets. It's a undertaking of quality to our visitors.

(members have accepted a visit of one of the tourist office workers, who in turn sent a report to the "fédération départementale" based on his/her findings. When satisfactory, a label will be awarded.
